Terms & Conditions

    Terms & Conditions

The terms that govern your use of NEXTJackson.org, NEXT programs, donations, and the NEXT Shop.

    Last Updated: August 22, 2026

    Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using NEXTJackson.org (the “Site”), operated by NEXT Institute for Leadership & Entrepreneurship (“NEXT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

These Terms apply to all visitors, parents, guardians, students, donors, volunteers, mentors, partners, and any other users of the Site.

    Program Enrollment & Participation

NEXT Institute offers youth development programs, including the NEXT Founding 50 cohort and the NEXT Youth Entrepreneurship Cohort, for Jackson-area youth ages 13–18.

    • Enrollment: Program enrollment is completed by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of the student. We do not knowingly accept enrollment submissions directly from minors.
    • Eligibility: NEXT reserves the right to determine program eligibility based on age, location, capacity, and program requirements.
    • Capacity: Program spots are limited. Waitlist registration does not guarantee enrollment. Official enrollment is first come, first served once registration opens.
    • Tuition: Program tuition is $100 per student unless otherwise stated. Payment is due in full at registration unless a scholarship has been approved.
    • Refunds: Tuition refunds are subject to NEXT’s refund policy in effect at the time of enrollment. Contact us at info@nextjackson.org for refund inquiries.
    • Scholarships: Full scholarships may be available based on funding. Scholarship requests are trust-based and do not require income documentation. A scholarship request does not affect a student’s eligibility.
    • Code of Conduct: Students are expected to participate respectfully and constructively. NEXT reserves the right to remove a participant from a program for disruptive or unsafe behavior.

    Donations & Payments

NEXT Institute accepts donations and program payments through secure third-party payment processors. By submitting a payment, you agree to the following:

    • Authorization: You authorize the charge for the stated amount and confirm that you are the authorized user of the payment method.
    • Donations: Donations are voluntary contributions. NEXT reserves the right to allocate donated funds toward its programs and operations unless a specific restriction has been agreed upon in writing.
    • Tax Status: NEXT Institute will confirm its applicable tax-exempt status and donation requirements separately. Do not assume tax deductibility until confirmed.
    • Recurring Gifts: If you elect monthly support, recurring charges will continue until you cancel. You may cancel recurring donations at any time by contacting us.
    • Errors: If you believe a billing error has occurred, contact us promptly at info@nextjackson.org.

    NEXT Shop & Student Products

The NEXT Shop may sell NEXT-branded merchandise, business resources, and products created by NEXT student entrepreneurs. The following terms apply:

    • Product Availability: All products are subject to availability. NEXT reserves the right to discontinue or modify products at any time.
    • Pricing: Prices are listed at the time of purchase and are subject to change without notice.
    • Student Products: Products created by student entrepreneurs are sold on behalf of those students. NEXT facilitates the transaction but is not the manufacturer of student-created goods.
    • Shipping: Shipping timelines and methods will be communicated at checkout. NEXT is not liable for carrier delays.
    • Returns: Return and exchange policies will be specified at the time of purchase. Certain custom or student-made items may be non-returnable.

    NEXT Holiday Market

The NEXT Holiday Market is a public event where student entrepreneurs showcase and sell products or services directly to customers.

    • Student Earnings: Students keep 100% of the revenue they earn through their own sales at the NEXT Market or through their own direct business channels.
    • Vendor Space: For Founding 50 students, vendor space is included with enrollment. No separate Holiday Market vendor fee is charged.
    • Event Details: Date, location, and event logistics are subject to change. NEXT will communicate confirmed details through official channels.
    • Attendance: NEXT is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items at the market. Attendees participate at their own risk.
